2020 Silvaner Landwein Orange, Neckar, Germany

Golden in colour. Nutty and yeasty aroma of partly dried, friable pome fruit and a little stone fruit with rooty vegetable notes. Friable fruit also in the mouth, slightly smoky and quite clearly vegetal aromas, hints of yellow spice, fine sandy, slightly drying tannin, some persistence on the palate, a little yellow spice, hints of egg, moderate, sweetish melting, but also a slight bitterness, earthy notes, good, again somewhat drying finish.
