Relatively cool, somewhat tobacco-woody nose of red and black berries with earthy notes and a hint of tar, marzipan and Brazil nut. Ripe, quite juicy fruit, again a little nutty and also a hint of tobacco wood, some acid bite, crumbly, sandy tannin, good persistence on the palate, moderate, delicately sweet melting, very good, lively, juicy and spicy finish.
