2019 Silvaner Landwein Orange, Neckar, Germany

Orange and ochre colours. Nutty and a little dried-floral, slightly sweet pome fruit scent with mushroomy and yellow-spicy tones. Spicy and fruity in the mouth, not completely dry, grip of ripe tannin and noticeable acid bite, dark ethereal notes in the background, yeasty tones and dried apple, some persistence, smoky traces, very good, quite firm finish with yellow spice, apple-like flavours and tart nutty tones.
