Nutty nose, light toasted and dried vegetal notes, predominantly dark berries and preserved cherries, some licorice. Partly preserved dark fruit on the palate, toasted, spicy oak, licorice, touch of cocoa and coffee, fairly prominent, slightly sandy and astringent tannins, fairly persistent, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, slightly rustic style, some bite, good to very good finish with dark fruit and oak, again slightly astringent.
