2012 D.O.Ca Rioja Reserva, La Rioja, Spain

Firm nose, predominantly dark berries, hint of tobacco, nutty traces and some dried herbs. Clear, polished, fairly juicy dark fruit on the palate, hint of cocoa, spicy and herbaceous traces, generally well integrate fine, sandy tannins, hint of mint in the background, salty traces and some citrus fruit, full-bodied, but also elegant, still young, light peppery spice on a very good polished, juicy, nutty finish.
