2018 Dernau Spätburgunder, Ahr, Germany

Cool, fresh, tart scent of more red than black berries with cherry aromas, floral nuances, certain minerality, earthy tones and very light peppery spicy tones. Clear, rather tart, fine juicy, cool fruit, vegetable tones, fine sandy tannin, a hint of citrus fruit on the palate, good persistence, a little salt, also chalky nuances, fine acid bite, some depth, still young, very good, tangy-juicy, again relatively cool finish with a draught
