2017 Mayschoss Mönchberg Spätburgunder, Ahr, Germany

Firm, fairly deep, firm nose, light smoky notes, crystal clear red and black berry aromas, hint of tobacco, peppery and floral traces, prominent mineral noites. Fresh, tart, juicy, veryfirm, brilliantly pure fruit on the palate, firm, fine tannins, refreshing acid bite, persistent, light smoky notes and pepperyspice, excellent substance and depth, still veryyoung, vibrant, salty mineral notes in the background, quite complex, firm core, clear contours, firm grip on a very good, long, firm, enchantingly tart and juicy finish.
