2017 Dernau Spätburgunder, Ahr, Germany

Nose still reductive, light vegetal notes, red and a few black berries, floral, herbaceous and earthy traces. Clear, tart, restrained fruit on the palate, fresh, cool and juicy, vegetal and earthy notes, very fine youthful tannins, light bite, earthy and mineral notes in the background, salty traces, hint of bacon on a good to very goo cool, juicy finish.
