2017 Ahrweiler Forstberg Spätburgunder, Ahr, Germany

Clear nose, hint of bacon, light dried vegetal and herbaceous notes, red and a few black berries, earthy and smoky traces. Fairly firm, cool, very juicy, predominantly red fruit on the palate, floral, delicate spicy and herbaceous traces, peppery traces, fine tannins, refreshing acid bite, good substance and persistence, salty mineral notes, some depth, fresh style, very good, firm, cool, juicy finish.
