2021 Emilia IGT "Bagazzino Rosso", Emilia Romagna, Italy

Tart, somewhat leathery, dried vegetal and oaky nose, predominantly black berries, some plums, tobacco and smoke. Tart fruit with dried vegetal to tobacco and again smoky and barrel wood notes, fine sandy tannins, some dried mushrooms, leather and bacon in the background, some bite, earthy notes, good finish.
