2018 Colli Bolognesi DOC Merlot, Emilia Romagna, Italy

Slightly muted, somewhat meaty and nutty aroma of predominantly dark berries with cedary and leathery tones. Tart, relatively fresh fruit, dried-vegetable to herbal and nutty tones, a little smoke, hints of juniper, fine sandy tannin and light acid bite, good finish.
