2007 Colli Bolognesi DOC Merlot Vigneto Bagazzana, Emilia Romagna, Italy

Slightly tart cherries and berries on the nose, earthy and herbaceous, hint of vanilla. Fairly clear fruit on the palate, again slightly tart and green, moderate oak, herbaceous notes, medium-fine tannins, slightly astringent, not particularly deep, slightly astringent again on a predominantly fruity finish.
