The winery is located in the municipality of Neudegg-Großriedenthal in the Lower Austrian wine region of
Wagram. The family business is run by Harald and Maria Hausdorf. The vineyards comprise 5.4 hectares of vineyards in the Hinterberg, Riesmein, Spielberg and Wadenthal areas. They are 85% planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner (60%), Roter Veltliner (10%),
Frühroter Veltliner (10%) and Riesling (5%), as well as the red wine variety Zweigelt (15%). The processing is carried out according to controlled organic farming methods with the promotion of
beneficial organisms. Quality-enhancing measures are rigorous
thinning out, a strict selection of the grape material and processing with the most modern cellar technology. Premium wines include, for example, the white wine cuvée Carmen (Roter Veltliner, Riesling, Chardonnay), Grüner Veltliner Riesmein, Grüner Veltliner Wadenthal, Riesling Spielberg,
Frühroter Veltliner Hinterberg and Zweigelt Barrique Hinterberg, all of which have been matured for 12 months in steel tanks (6 of which on yeast).
