2021 Roero DOCG "Prachiosso", Piedmont, Italy

Somewhat oaky and a hint of leathery aromas of red and black berries with light tobacco nuances, floral notes and restrained, dark ethereal spice. Ripe, juicy, quite dense fruit, a certain acid bite and present, fine sandy tannins, a little iron on the palate, floral tones, hints of coffee grounds and cocoa, salt in the background, a hint of citrus zest, then cigar tobacco, very good, tart, firm, very slightly drying finish.
