2007 Roero Arneis DOC Gianat, Piedmont, Italy

Pomaceous fruit on the nose, spicy coconut and light oak. Delicate oak on the palate, vanilla and cloves, preserved cool apple fruit, light herbaceous notes, delicate mineral traces in the background, moderate acidity, has some volume, good persistence, well made in a modern style, shows some varietal character and its origins in spite of the oak, good finish.
