Description to Bosco Eliceo DOC
DOC area for white and red wines in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna. The zone includes the municipalities of Goro, Lagosanto, Mesola e parte di Argenta, Codigoro and Comacchio in the province of Ferrara, and Ravenna and Cervia in the province of Ravenna.
The Bianco is blended from Trebbiano Romagnolo (zum. 70%), Sauvignon = Sauvignon Blanc and Malvasia Bianca di Candia (max. 30%), as well as other approved varieties (max. 5%). The pure wines are produced from at least 85% of the respective variety. These are the white wine Sauvignon (with max. 15% Trebbiano Romagnolo), and the two red wines Fortana and Merlot. The wines are aged somewhat differently in secco, abbocato, amabile and dolce. There is a Frizzante from Bianco, Fortana and Sauvignon, a Vivace from Fortana, Merlot and Sauvignon.
