Tart black berry nose with dried herbaceous to tobacco notes, a hint of sour cherries, juniper and malty bread crust. Clear, quite dense and powerful in the mouth, tart fruit with present, relatively fine, crumbly-sandy tannins and a certain acid bite, slightly smoky and sooty tones on the palate, a little caraway, salt in the background, bacony nuances, good to very good, quite firm finish with a certain alcoholic strength, delicate bitterness and again also bite.

Best to drink: Mitte 2024 bis 2028+. What our ratings mean
