2008 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Blauburgunder Gstrein, Alto Adige, Italy

Partly dried and partly baked red berries on the nose, herbaceous notes, light dried floral notes, hint of sugar candy. Fairly tart red berry fruit on the palate, dried flowers and a hint of dark berries, medium-fine tannins, delicate oak, earthy traces, noticeable alcohol, not particularly deep, attractive finish.
