Slightly smoky and a hint of iodine and blood on the nose, predominantly black berries with some tobacco and cedary notes. Clear, polished, juicy, ripe dark fruit, some roasted, smoky and cedary wood flavours, quite fine, ripe tannin, a little ethereal spice on the palate, good persistence, coffee in the background, slight acid bite, a hint of ash, very good, juicy and spicy finish.
