Slightly fleshy aroma of predominantly black berries with cherry notes, herbs, a little pepper and floral nuances. Ripe, juicy fruit with slightly smoky, peppery, herbal and again fleshy flavours, some bite, present, fine sandy tannin, a hint of bacon and mushrooms in the background, some power, quite firm construction, very good, tart finish.
