2020 Grauburgunder "Dit is der Clou von't Janze", Baden, Germany

Salmon colour. Quite tightly knit, somewhat spicy, nutty and vegetal nose of ripe stone fruit with a hint of dark berries and dried mushrooms. Polished, tightly knit citrus fruit with a hint of redcurrant leaves, tobacco and a touch of rosemary in the background, present acidity, crumbly tannic grip, good persistence, hints of barrel wood, salty tones, very good finish with bite.
