Somewhat herbal, slightly reminiscent of spring onions and a little floral scent of more red than black berries with moderate, somewhat tobacco woody hints. Relatively lean, delicately acidic fruit, fine sandy tannin and some bite, herbal notes on the palate, spring onions again, some persistence but little real depth, hints of salt in the background, restrained barrel tones, a touch of tobacco again, peppery traces, good to very good finish.
