2015 Syrah trocken Angel Hill, Baden, Germany

Partly preserved dark berries and a few cherries on the nose, nutty, spicy oak, peppery notes, dried herbs and a hint of tobacco. Fairly tart ripe, dark fruit on the palate, some toasted oak and chocolate, peppery and herbacoeus aromas, full-bodied, good persistence, fairly well integrated fine sandy tannins, delicate acid bite, very slightly astringent, hint of tobacco, good to very good finish.
