2020 Untertürkheim Herzogenberg Pinot Noir Grosses Gewächs trocken, Württemberg, Germany

Tight, rather dark, hinted at animal scent of small red and a little black berries with smoky nuances, delicate floral tones and very slightly waxy-etheric spice. Ripe, quite polished fruit with tart, dark wood spice and present, fine sandy tannins, nutty and somewhat cocoa and coffee spicy on the palate, noticeable rosemary, good persistence, has power, certain acidity, mineral hints, a touch of lemon pepper, very good, tart finish.
