2019 Untertürkheim Herzogenberg Pinot Noir Grosses Gewächs trocken, Württemberg, Germany

Slightly toasty as well as a hint of malty aromas reminiscent of spicy bread crust, red and black berries with dried floral nuances, a little smoke and tones reminiscent of fennel and juniper in the background. Clear, tart, tight, almost cool fruit, smoky-roasty aromas, a trace of soot, dried-floral to herbal and tobacco nuances, good persistence, present, fine-sandy tannin, some bite, certain power and depth, salty in the background, again a little fennel and juniper, very good, firm, tart, smoky and salty finish.
