2021 Lahr Kronenbühl Gottsacker Chardonnay Grosses Gewächs trocken, Baden, Germany

Youthful, firm and quite deep, clearly vegetal citrus pome fruit scent with a little stone fruit, light woody notes, herbal seedlings, parsley, light nuts and smoke. Almost cool, polished, youthful, quite dry fruit with fine, lively acidity and some grip, vegetal, slightly smoky and a little light nutty and woody hints, persistent on the palate, still completely undeveloped, some pak choi and root vegetables in the background, some depth, hints of fresh butter, very good, again relatively cool, quite polished finish.
