2014 Westhofen Riesling trocken Ortswein, Rheinhessen, Germany

Slightly nutty, dried vegetal, earthy and a little woody nose with subdued yellow fruit notes, yeast, some mineral notes and some root vegetables. Very slightly muted, quite firm fruit on the palate, dried vegetal notes, hint of nutty and earthy notes, lively acidity, slightly sandy tannins, fairly persistent, yeasty traces, mineral notes in the background, good grip, very good finish.

Best to drink: Ende 2016 bis 2021+. What our ratings mean
