Festering, warmer scent of ripe predominantly black berries with some preserved cherries and red pepper, smoky wood spice, a bit of tar and tobacco. Ripe, firm, herbaceous-juicy fruit, present, crumbly-sandy tannins, a bit of bite, again smoky and also slightly roasted wood, a touch of ash in the background, plenty of strength and good sustainability, salt in the background, also chalky hints, still undeveloped, very good, bitter, slightly sandy finish. Needs to mature.

Best to drink: Mitte 2025 bis 2031+. What our ratings mean
