2015 Pleisweiler-Oberhofen Schloßberg Spätburgunder trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Light spicy oak and toasted notes on the nose, hint of bacon, red and a few black berries, hint of bell peppers and peppery traces. Fairly firm, tart, very slightly warm fruit on the palate, noticeable acid bite, dried vegetal aromas, some oak, hint of tobacco and bacon, dried herbs in the background, light ethereal notes, youthful, slightly sandy tannins, stil slightly astringent, peppery spice and some bell peppers in the background, hint of curry, good to very good, fairly firm finish with a firm acid bite.
