trocken "Cathédrale", Pfalz, Germany

Slightly herbal scent of black berries and sour cherries with herbal notes and a hint of pepper. Acidic dark fruit, again herbal and somewhat peppery tones, quite present, fine sandy tannin, smoky roasty nuances, not very deep, a touch of sweetness, chocolatey nuances, hints of coffee and salt, decent to good, slightly drying finish, again with noticeable acid bite.
