2021 Westhofen Silvaner trocken Alte Reben, Rheinhessen, Germany

Clearly vegetal and still a hint of smoky-reductive aroma with tart, pome fruit accentuated yellow fruit aromas, a little tobacco and mineral tones. Clear, polished, tart-juicy fruit with yeasty, nutty and again slightly tobacco and planty tones, very fine acidity, grip of crumbly tannin, persistent on the palate, quite clear minerality, elegant style, some depth, very good, firm, tart-juicy, finely spicy and grippy finish.
