2017 Westhofen Scheurebe trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Fairly cool, firm nose, still slightly reductive and yeasty, pomaceous fruit, almonds and peppery traces. Straightforward, firm, juicy fruit on the palate, yeasty, green vegetal and herbaceous aromas, lively acidity, prominent salty mineral notes, hint of juniper and parsley, good grip, peppery and herbaceous notes on a very good firm, tart, juicy finish.
