Firm, slightly warm, herbaceous-vegetable nose with yellow and some white fruit aromas, bay leaf, tarragon and restrained, slightly nutty barrel notes, white bread and floral nuances. Ripe, again somewhat warm, juicy fruit, herbaceous, slightly rooty and a hint of peppery flavours, fine acidity, some grip, smoky hints in the background, salty and chalky tones, noticeable but integrated alcohol, black berry nuances in the background, very good finish.
