2019 Pinot Noir "Geisberg", Pfalz, Germany

Firm and quite deep, tart aroma of black and red berries with dried floral nuances, a hint of herbs, moderate woody notes and hints of mushrooms. Taut, tart, undeveloped fruit, pickled cherries and cranberries, smoky and peppery notes, present, fine sandy, youthful tannin, persistent, has bite, some depth, clear, chalky-salty minerality, still barely developed, very good, firm, tart, grippy finish, again with lots of minerality.
