2018 trocken Cuvée "Wilhelm", Pfalz, Germany

Firm, nutty, somewhat smoky-roasty and dried-vegetable to tobacco aroma of ripe black and red berries with a hint of juniper and beetroot. Ripe black fruit with pepper, juniper, clove and some red cabbage, crumbly-sandy tannin, smoky notes, salt in the background, quite clearly herbal tones, a little reminiscent of coriander, a little blood orange, clove and bitter chocolate, minty hints, very good finish.
