2017 Bissersheim Goldberg Spätburgunder trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Tart aroma of more black than red berries with a hint of cherries, nutty tones, a little tobacco as well as dried floral, earthy and very slightly dark ethereal aromas. Ripe, slightly developed, rather dark fruit, nutty as well as slightly cocoa- and coffee-spicy aromas, again hints of waxy-ethereal, a little drying tannin, hints of salt in the background, also dried mushrooms, very good, again slightly drying finish. Develops faster than expected.
