Slightly roasted, somewhat tobacco-like, nutty, and subtly meaty aroma of predominantly dark berries and a little cherries with nuances reminiscent of forest floor, smoke, and medicinal herbs. Clear, juicy, quite firm fruit with some nutty and bittersweet chocolate wood aromas, hints of coffee grounds and blood, good substance and sustainability, certain depth, crumbly, still youthful tannin, salty minerality, a touch of Brazil nut in the very good finish. Should still age.

Best to drink: Mitte 2025 bis 2030+. What our ratings mean
