2016 Pfaffenhofen Spitzenberg Lemberger Grosses Gewächs trocken, Württemberg, Germany

Tart, fairly deep nose, partly dried vegetal and light earthy notes, hint of bacon, black and red berries, herbaceous, peppery and mineral notes, touch of juniper. Firmly structured, fairly juicy, lively fruit on the palate, nutty and spicy notes, touch of chocolate, fine tannins, light acid bite, persistent, fairly prominent ethereal notes, good depth, still young, fairly aromatic on a very good, firm finish.
