Fairly firm youthful nose, spicy oak, some bacon, dried floral traces, preserved mixed berries and cherries, smoky notes, peppery traces, earthy and mineral notes. Ripe, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, vegetal and earthy notes, spicy oak, some cool notes in spite of the high level of alcohol, fine sandy tannins, good substance and persistence, some waxy and creamy notes, more peppery notes, some cardamom, some dried herbs in the background, star anise, prominent salty notes, some bite on a very good ripe, juicy finish.
