Quite firm, tart currant scent with aromas of currant leaves and partly Mediterranean herbs, slightly almondy-nutty tones and a hint of dried mushrooms. Ripe, juicy, somewhat warm fruit with nutty and delicately smoky aromas, light wood spice and also a little fennel-like tones, very fine acidity, moderate grip, a hint of curry in the background, persistent, some depth, lots of power and noticeable alcohol, floral and waxy nuances, a hint of ethereal, very good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2026+. What our ratings mean
