2017 Mitterberg IGT Sauvignon Puiten, Alto Adige, Italy

Firm nose, prominent partly dried vegetal and herbaceous notes, yellow and green fruit, floral notes, hint of black berries, peppery traces, some bay leaf, prominent mineral notes. Ripe, firm, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, yeasty notes, prominent vegetal and herbaceous notes, light nutty oak, elegant, fairly lively acidity, fine tannins provide noticeable grip, good substance and persistence, noticeable warm alcohol, but also has cool elements, white pepper in the background, chalky notes, light nutty oak on a very good, firm finish.
