2019 Frühburgunder trocken "edition", Rheinhessen, Germany

Warm, noticeably woody aroma of red and black berries with nutty, earthy and a little dried-vegetable to herbal notes. Ripe, again warm fruit with clear, nutty and chocolaty wood spice, crumbly, sandy, a little drying tannin, a little smoke on the palate, chocolate, some persistence, noticeable alcohol, hints of salt in the background, citrus traces, good, alcoholic finish with slight bitterness.
