2018 Pinot Noir trocken, Nahe, Germany

Firm, tart, noticeably oaky nose, predominantly dark berries with malty notes, some tree bark and a few herbs, cubeb pepper and floral traces with aeration. Somewhat warm, quite dark fruit with woody and malty notes, fine sandy tannin, peppery-ethereal spice, dried herbal flavours, a little salt in the background, grippy, ripe tannin, has power, very good, slightly warm finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2024 bis 2029+. What our ratings mean
