Red and black berry nose with cherry notes, some dried floral and vegetal aromas and restrained barrel tones. Ripe, partly dried fruit, smoky, nutty and tobacco flavours, some sandy and drying tannin, salt and chalk in the background, noticeable alcohol, which, however, integrates well with air, as the wine gets juicier and tighter, a touch of pepper, dried vegetal tones, a touch bacony-animalic, smoky and chocolatey nuances, very good, quite juicy, alcoholic finish with waxy nuances..
