Slightly smoky, spicy oak on the nose, black and red berries, tart earthy and herbaceous notes. Tart, slightly juicy fruit on the palate, prominent oak, fairly prominent, slightly sandy and astringent tannins, medium body, fairly persistent, vegetal notes, some chocolate in the background, not particularly deep, more slightly astringent oak on an otherwise fairly good finish.

Best to drink: 2012-2015+. What our ratings mean
