Smoky, nutty and somewhat bacony, a little warm nose of cherries and mixed berries with oniony vegetal notes and a little dark spice. Ripe, rather tart fruit, again smoky wood notes and tones reminiscent of roasted onions, crumbly tannin, persistent on the palate, has power and warmth, a little dark ethereal spice in the background, a touch of bread crust, salty hints, good to very good finish.
