2021 Wallhausen Johannisberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Nahe, Germany

Very slightly muted, noticeably vegetal as well as delicately yeasty and nutty aroma with relatively restrained citrus and stone fruit aromas as well as some bread crust and dried coriander. Bright, somewhat lemony fruit with planty to herbal aromas, some yeast and floral traces, hints of candy, quite lively acidity, somewhat covering phenolic, certain persistence, clearly salt and chalk in the background, very good, firm, again slightly phenolic-grip finish.
