2019 Dalberg Ritterhölle Riesling VDP.Erste Lage trocken, Nahe, Germany

Firm, very lightly developed citrus-stone fruit scent with herbal-vegetable, floral and still hinted at yeasty notes as well as a hint of plums, fennel and mustard seed. Ripe, quite juicy, not quite dry fruit with smoky notes, clearly herbal, hints of green pepper and again some mustard seed, lively acidity and grip of ripe tannin, mineral tones, a hint of dark berries, also green tobacco, very good, grippy, a touch sweetish finish.
