2017 Wallhausen Johannisberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Nahe, Germany

Somewhat warm, vegetal, delicately yeasty and very slightly tobacco aroma with bright yellow fruity aromas, a little candy and floral nuances. Some, melting, partly candied and preserved sweet fruit, fine acidity, floral nuances and a little yellow spice, yeasty traces in the background, a touch of red berries, some minerality, very good, very slightly muted, quite sweet finish with vegetal notes, acid bite and distinct minerality. Actually much too sweet for a nominally dry wine
