2022 Ungstein Scheurebe VDP.Ortswein trocken "SP", Pfalz, Germany

Firm, slightly smoky and woody aroma of ripe, partly dried citrus fruits and stone fruits with moderate candy notes and a little yellow spice as well as vegetal nuances. Ripe, warm fruit with nutty and smoky wood aromas, vegetal nuances, yellow spice, nut butter and grilled pineapple, black berry nuances in the background, some salt, fine acidity and noticeable grip of ripe tannin, persistent on the palate, good substance, some depth, very good finish, again with lots of ripe, warm, partly candied fruit and smoky-nutty wood.
